Time for another weigh in!  I’m happy to report that I’m still moving in the right direction and happy with my progress.  Here are the numbers:


I’m almost in to the double digits!

I think I’ll start posting my measurements monthly as well as the scale really is only one of many ways to gauge changes in body and health.

I want to give myself a pat on the back as well for a non-scale victory too.  Every year I get a health screening at work and last year I found out my cholesterol was high.  I know I had gained weight (I hit my highest weight last April) but that was the first time I saw it reflected in real health numbers.

I had this year’s screening on Monday and I’m happy to report my cholesterol is back in the healthy range!  I was surprised by this because I am only down 10 lbs.  In the last year I have made some concerted efforts to eat more healthier, eat fewer processed foods, and increase my exercise.  I guess this proves that healthy habits can improve your health even if you don’t see a big change in the size of your body.  That’s good information for all of us!

Yay! Great week! It was a big moment for me when my medical chart no longer said obese!
