Weekly Workout Wrap-Up: Killing It

This last week has been AWESOME for workouts.  I mean it.  I was killing it!

I got in my three Couch to 5k runs.  I lifted twice.  I tried a spin class at my gym.  I worked out five days in a row AND two of those workouts were 6 AM mornings before work.  This is a pretty ideal week for me.  I knew I had company coming in to town this weekend and wouldn’t have time to work out so I made sure to fit it in every weekday.  I owe  some of my success to my training partner Steve too, who made the workouts fun and helped motivate me!

This week was a testament to how much eating healthy and working out can contribute to my quality of life.  I was tired and sore from the workouts but I was also happy.  I felt good and positive about life in general.  That’s a big deal for someone battling depression.  It goes to show that those endorphins really work!

Every week won’t be as good as this one but I hope to use this as a baseline for what I want to shoot for in my workouts.

Here’s to killing it!

Great week! I am in awe of working out at 6 AM. Night owl here. I can barely open my eyes then, let alone exercise. Great that you can do it.
