This week has been kind of a loss so far.  I’ve been, in the words of Disturbed, down with the sickness.  (Terrible, I know).  I started feeling a tickle in my throat on Sunday morning and by Monday morning it was a full-blown ick.  Sore throat, head and chest congestion, runny nose.  I’ve felt awful!

Monday and Tuesday I was totally down and out.  I managed to be awake for about six hours each day.  The rest of it I was sleeping soundly.  I figure that is the true sign your body is fighting something off.  Today has been better.  It took a while to get going but I really needed to attend to work today so I’ve been able to get several hours of productivity in so far.  I’m still very congested (head/nose) and feel a little fuzzy but that’ll pass.  In the meantime, I’ve got stuff to do!

I’ll obviously still be taking it a little easy for a couple of days and getting plenty of sleep to help me get healthy again.  I’m still trying to decide if I’ll be going out for my run tonight.  I figure a little exercise, as long as it isn’t strenuous, might be helpful.  We’ll see how I feel tonight.
