Weekly Wrap-up: Slow Start

The workouts last week were a little sparse.  The goal was to get back to running.  My ankle is strong enough to handle small amounts of it but I have to be careful not to overdo it.  I decided to use the Couch to 5k training plan to give me a structured way to increase my time/distance running.  It went well as long as I was focused on my form.  If I got sloppy about my foot strike, my ankle hurt.  I needed a day off in between run/walks to let it rest as well.  I planned on running again on Sunday but my weekend festivities left me super tired so I passed.  It was a slow start, but it was a start.

This coming week I plan to do three run/walk workouts for sure, and keep working on ankle exercises to build strength.
