Friend Makin’ Monday: Random Questions

Time for this week’s edition of FMM.  If you want to join in, answer the questions below in a post and leave a link in the comments over at Kenlie’s blog.  Pick some links, visit and comment on new blogs, and make some new friends this week!

1. Did you watch the Super Bowl?  If so, what was your favorite part?  I didn’t watch it.  I did tape it so I’ll probably go through it for the commercials and halftime show sometime this week when I’m bored.

2. What is the weather like where you live?  It has been pretty darn cold here, sporadic snowing, always snow on the ground.  This past weekend it was almost in the teens (still negative windchill) and I barely wore a coat at all.  It is amazing how your body can adjust.

3. When is your birthday?  November 14th.

4. Do you prefer sparkling water or flat water?  Still water (flat).  I’m not at all a fan of regular sparkling water.  Sometimes flavored sparkling water can quench my craving for bubbles, rather than drinking pop, but I don’t do that much.

5. How many hours did you sleep last night?  11.  I needed it to make up for the 3.75 I slept on Friday night and the 5 I slept on Saturday night.

6. What is your favorite day of the week?  It used to be Thursdays.  Now I’m not sure I have one.

7. If you had to choose between riding a bike or swimming, which would you choose?  On a given day it would depend but if I had to choose to only do one… yikes.  I don’t think I could give up swimming.  It was my first love, from the time I was 5 years old and I had to swim the length of the 25 yard public pool for my coach to get on the summer team though swimming in the WI state meet in high school.  I’ve taken breaks over the years, discovered other loves, but I always go back.

8. How often do you eat red meat?  A couple of times a week.

9. What time did you wake up this morning?  7 AM.

10. Do you have any goals for the week?  Complete the three Coach to 5k workouts for this week, continue doing ankle strengthening exercises, and spend some time in quiet contemplation.
