I don’t know about you but I love the Olympics!  It is so fun and inspiring to see athletes competing and representing their countries proudly.

Fun Fact:  18 nations have only one athlete representing them in Sochi this year.  Five of those nations (Zimbabwe, Tonga, Malta, Paraguay, and Timor-Leste) are making their Winter Olympic Games debut.

Nutrition

Olympic-flames

Fun Fact: A flame, which represents the theft of fire from the Greek God Zeus by Prometheus, has always been a symbol of Olympic competition.  However, the Olympic flame was lit for the first time in 1928 for the Amsterdam Games.  The torch relay debuted in 1936.  The picture above is the Olympic flame in 1928 & 2014.
