Let’s break things down into threes, shall we?

3 Fun Things This Week

1) Chicago Concert

It was a super fun.  I love the horns that take center stage in the band and how they are basically all lead singers on at least one of their hits.

2) Start Trek Into Darkness

Yeah, I’m a nerd, but I love Star Trek and the second in this reboot is pretty awesome.  The way Kirk and Spock play off each other is comical.  And seriously, how good-looking is he??

3) Quad Cities Air Show

This is coming up on Saturday and I’m looking forward to it.  I remember going to the Oshkosh Air Show in Wisconsin when I was a kid and getting my pilot license has always been on my bucket list.

(Hmm… should I add a page to this site for a Bucket List?  Yes?  No?)

3 Things Worth The Money (In My Opinion!)

1) SiriusXM Satellite Radio

2) Netflix

Yeah.  I love it.  I’d never have discovered things like New Girl, Arrested Development, and Gossip Girl without it!

3) Massages

I don’t get them very often but they are so great for after an athletic event, after too much time traveling, or just for treating yourself!

3 Things I Want to Do Soon

1) Vino Van Gogh

These events are held all over town, mostly at restaurants.  For $38 you get a canvas and all the supplies and an instructor teaches you how to paint whatever painting is featured that day.  Meanwhile you can order appetizers and drinks from the host restaurant.  I’m actually thinking of doing a private party with a bunch of friends when my college roommates come to visit in August.

2) Make a River Rock Mat

I thought the DIY tutorial I saw looked pretty neat so I bought the stuff a few weeks ago but haven’t actually worked on it.

3) Online Photography Class

I bought a Groupon for a class on how to use the DSLR that I got at Christmas last year.  I keep forgetting about it though so hopefully I find the time to start it soon and get some good pictures!

3 Movies I Want to See

1) This Is The End

2) Ironman 3

3) The Hangover Part III

3 Exciting Things Coming Up

1) Fitbloggin!

I’m so pumped to go to my first conference.  Hopefully I meet a lot of new people, make some new friends, and learn a lot.  Looking at the schedule got me all sorts of excited!

2) RAGBRAI!

I’ve had some really good bike rides lately and I cannot wait to bike the state of Iowa again!  This will be my third time.  One of the shortest routes in history too, which my legs will probably be happy about!

3) Brazil!

I am way pumped to go back to Brazil for work in August.  I spent two weeks there in 2011 and I loved it.  I’ll probably come home with some purses and shoes :)  Read up on my past Brazil adventures here, here, and here!

Three things:
1. I love that my cauliflower rice is on your “Recipes To Try” list.
2. I also LOVED LOVED LOVED “Star Trek Into Darkness.”
3. “This Is The End” made me laugh so hard my face hurt. It’s raunchy, silly, and wildly entertaining.

Thanks for the shout out!

I miss my XM and need to get it back. I was addicted to Cosmo radio and the 90s station.

That recipe of mine is pretty much the best…not that I’m biased or anything! 😉

I’ve also thought about do that Vino Van Gogh, looks like a fun time! Also, can’t wait to see you at Fitbloggin’. Although, I must say it is pretty ridiculous that we’ll be seeing each other across the country when we just live across the river from each other. I’m lame at the friend thing (working on it!)!
