February Foodie Penpal Reveal

Since today is the last day in February it’s time for…

*drumroll*

Foodie Penpal Reveal!

That’s right, the lovely and sweet Melissa sent me a package full of delicious goodies from the Atlanta area.

She sent a very sweet note. And she has beautiful handwriting.  Strange compliment?  Well it’s true.

So, what did she get me?  Here are the goodies.

The top picture is granola and 2 nutrition bars from a place in Atlanta called Highland Bakery.  Actually, it’s one nutrition bar and one wrapper because I couldn’t wait to take pictures before devouring it.  I’m not kidding you… these bar are one of the BEST things I have eaten.  They were so good!!  And they were very clean.  Sesame seeds, peanuts, pecans, flax, honey… all good things.  Actually, these were the non-vegan things I ate last week.  Anyway, next time I’m in Georgia visiting my family I’m planning to do a drive by of one of the Highland Bakery locations!

The bottom picture was some yummy gummy hearts and a yellow curry sauce.  I haven’t tried it yet and I’m not well versed on cooking with curry sauce but I’m sure it’ll be tasty.

The coolest thing that Melissa sent me though, was treats for my puppy!  She also has a furry friend and these are bakery dog treats that her dog likes.  Dean though they were pretty fantastic.

Needless to say, the dog treats were a hit and so were the items meant for me
