I posted this on Twitter but I thought I’d post it here too in hopes of more responses.
I’m running a marathon relay on Sunday and my leg is 5.6 miles. Next Saturday (one week away!) is my Disney half marathon.
Question of the day…
Do I run the relay leg as an easy taper/training run or do I run hard?
My team won’t care either way as we’re doing it for fun. I’m just not sure which would be smarter. Even if I run it hard I should be recovered just fine by next Saturday I think… right?
What do you think? What would you do?
